Access policy and costs of the KLM Crown Lounges
Make sure you’re visiting a lounge on the same day you travel before departure or during a transfer on a KLM-operated flight or an international SkyTeam-operated flight. Depending on your travel class and Flying Blue membership level, you might have to pay a fee to access the KLM Crown Lounges.
Free access
Are you travelling in Business Class? Visiting our Crown Lounges is included in your Standard and Flex ticket.
Flying Blue Platinum and Gold members, as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus* passengers, are welcome in our Crown Lounges. You may bring 1 guest free of charge, as long as you’re travelling on the same flight. Flying Blue Ultimate members may invite up to 8 guests, also travelling on the same flight. * SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers can access the lounge as early as 3 hours before their flight’s departure and any time during a connection.
Access at a fee
All passengers can access our Crown Lounges at a fee, starting from 3 hours before departure. You can find the current entry fees in My Trip or at the lounge entrance. Flying Blue Silver members get a 25% discount on access to the lounges. Please note that the discount is only valid if you book in advance.
Are you a Flying Blue Platinum or Gold member, and do you want to bring more than 1 guest? You can do so at a 25% discount. Please note that we welcome a maximum of 9 passengers per booking to our lounges. This also applies to group bookings.
Buy KLM Crown Lounge access-In-most-cases
In most cases, you can buy access to a KLM Crown Lounge when you book your ticket, in My Trip, or during check-in. This depends on availability.
You can also buy access at the entrance to the KLM Crown Lounge. Please note that you can only pay with Miles or a credit card. Cash payments are not accepted.
